what’s recruitment kick off

I thought that was open house day

No so kick off day is like you meet with your recruitment group and RCs (not for long if I remember right, maybe like an hour or two, but maybe that's changed since I rushed.) You recruitment group is basically the group of girls you go with to every house with on open house (after that, for sisterhood/philanthropy/pref you get an individualized schedule based on the houses you are invited back to.) Your RCs are girl in sororitys who are there to help you through the recruitment process (but they do NOT associate with their sororitys during rush, so they have no influence on whether or not you get invited back to their house of not.) On the most basic level, RCs lead you around to the houses on open house and help arrange you in alphabetical order outside the houses
Basically, no you don't go to any houses on kick off day. It's honestly just a chill day to relax before the craziness of rush.
