how much do sororities care about legacy? like if they know that I'm a legacy for one sorority will the others drop me by bid day? my friend who rushed this past year preffed one sorority but got her second choice and she thinks it's because she was a strong legacy for the second.

if youre a legacy you just get guaranteed you will get called back on the first day but after that it doesnt matter.

If you're going for a top house being a legacy really holds little to zero weight. Same with recommendations.

Legacy just means they have to pay special attention to you, especially during the early rounds. For some houses, they will invite you back just for being a legacy, but at the top houses, being a legacy gives you no advantage over the other girls. Kappa, Chi O and Pi Phi dropped a lot of legacies this year.

aephi gives every legacy a bid. they don't even discuss them during voting, because they're automatically in unless there's a super compelling reason to override the protocol. that's why aephi is mostly "cool" rich shiny hair girls who are clones of each other with a couple of awkward girls who clearly don't fit in.

Kappa pi phi and chi o don't focus on legacy bc they have so many people that want them that they get to construct pledge classes that are really cohesive
