What are the real sorority rankings here? Top tier? Mid Tier? Bottom Tier?

These are the real rankings:
Top: Pi Phi
Upper mid-tier: Kappa, XO, AEPhi
Lower mid-tier: Theta
Bottom: Phi Mu, SDT

ok here are the "tiers":
upper - kappa, pi phi, aephi
middle - chi-o, theta
lower - sdt, phi mu

within the tiers it just depends on what you want. honestly, most of the sororities within each tier are pretty similar. go through rush, see where you fit best, and pick based on that. everyone wants the same three sororities but not everybody can be in those.

What I have to say has nothing to do with tiers. This is just a thought to consider

You're not joining a reputation, you're joining a group of GIRLS. How you feel about the girls is your business and your opinion, and shouldn't be swayed by how other people view them. Get to know the girls on your grounds as much as you can, and judge them by that and nothing else. Also, join the girls you fit best with NOW, otherwise you'll spend 4 years trying to be someone you're not.

pi phi - pretty chill
chi o - smart and cute. last years pledge not the best
sdt - great sisterhood. last two pledge classes very cute and classy

theta - overall pretty nice
phi mu - smart and involved on campus.

aephi/kappa - hard core partiers

I agree with this. Kappa is certainly falling fast, especially with their most recent PC and their rumored probation. Girls dropped out of recruitment who still had AEPhi and Kappa.
