There are seven Panhels, one Divine 9 at Tulane. There's another Divine 9 that's citywide, mostly Loyola. So it's a very different picture from state u's with 20+ Panhels. Realistically, "tiers" are the concern of someone insecure and obsessed over "rankings". ALL Tulane Panhels are very selective because they can be, and each recruits fabulous girls! Anything you read here that says otherwise is bashing.
That being said, Pi Phi is recognized as the top house all around- attractive, fun, involved, high GPAs, respected. After that, they're each top for something. AEPhis are attractive and party hard. Sig Delts are involved and classy. Chi Os are traditional ladies with high GPAs. Thetas are sweet and involved. Kappas party hardest. Phi Mus are sweet and fun. Frats love all of them! Best sisterhoods are Pi Phi, Sig Delt, Theta and Chi O. Zeta is recolonizing. There's always a lot of controvery over which house is top, but that's just how it is. Most of the Panhels are supportive of the other houses and get along great.
GET TO KNOW AS MANY ACTIVIES IN THE DIFFERENT HOUSES AS YOU CAN FIRST SEMESTER. Good luck in January!

The top houses are Pi phi and KKG. Hot partiers
Aephi is a respected house known for partying and a lot of JAPS
Next would be Chi O. They've been on probation for a year though so are often forgotten about
Theta
SDT
Phi Mu

I was hooking up with a chi o two years ago when they were on probation.. only the current seniors were even around for that. Aephi is def below Chi O

The only person who would rate kkg as top tier at Tulane is a kappa. The frats agree the kappas are kind of a local joke. Zero sisterhood or class.

Fact- anyone rating kappa #2 or above chi o, theta, sig delt or aephi is a kappa.
