transfer student

Similar to the thread below, would it be any different for someone who is transferring in as a sophomore? I may be a transfer in fall or 2017 for my second year. Would love any advice anyone can give me, as I have high interest in joining a sorority. Thanks in advance.

You would definitely be able to join a sorority! A ton of sophomores rush in the spring
