It's much more watered down and not as intense. It has a big presence on campus but not like sec schools where it's the only source of social life. Rushing is much more laid back and pledging is for the most part. Not as big as SEC but a good balance and presence.

As someone mentioned in another thread, sorority recruitment is competitive in a different way from the SEC -- recs and connections aren't as big a deal here as in the SEC, but what is a big deal is how you click with the actives. First impressions are key.
