I am an ECU student and never knew what Greek life was. During this years welcome week I saw the chi os on campus at all the events! They all seemed so sweet and not like the movies at all. I have signed up for recruitment this year.

The Chi Omega girls were always the sweetest. I truly wish I would have went through rush. They were so inviting at football games. I loved being around the girls when I was around campus. Many of the girls helped me with education classes.

Chi Omega is truly the best sorority on campus. The sisterhood aspect of it is very strong. I have noticed that every member has come out with a very good group of friends. They are always hanging out in their lounge together and you can tell from their social media that they are genuinely having a great time, its not just for show.

i went through recruitment at ECU and let me be the first to say that the chi o’s TRICK you into thinking that they love each other and are involved but they’re NOT. they are super rude after recruitment and only talk to each other. the girls are pretty but when it comes down to it they’re only in that sorority for the instagram pictures & tshirts. at recruitment they talked about how much their philanthropy means to them but they have one week in the spring where they do like 2 events and literally NOTHING ELSE. they cried about a little boy they raised money for but come to find out that all happened in like 2012 & they haven’t had another one since.

Sadly this sisterhood has gone down hill. What was once a strong bond is now full of petty fighting girls. They will recruit you into what you think is the best sisterhood ever, but that’s not the case. They just want to fill spots and only pay attention to the popular or pretty ones. That leaves the rest of us feeling like we have no place. I wouldn’t recommend joining this sorority unless you’re already friends with the “popular” group. You won’t be included or feel loved like they says sisterhood is supposed to be. It’s all about the “Instagram” look and not about building each other up or creating a sisterhood.

Chi Omega's have ALWAYS been the sweetest and kindest women on campus. They exude class and grace. They are always willing to help other women on campus out regardless of affiliation to any sororities. Thankful for our Panhellenic sisters!!
