Does anyone else think that the entire notion of tiers at AU is just silly? Based on this assessment, I'm in a Middle 1 fraternity. I love my brothers and know that most of the other fraternities love their guys too. AU is too small a school to actually have tiers.

i would disagree. sig delt has been consistently recruiting better over the past 2 years, perfecting their PR, and arguably has the best panhellenic relationships on campus. they deserve a middle spot. if i were a freshman again (i'm a senior) i would be very pleased to get a bid from sig delt. there's lightyears from where they were 4 years ago. sigma kappa doesn't have a bad rep, but they're brand new and need to show us what they've got to offer. alpha xi delta has been weak at recruitment, has questionable PR, and some rough Greek relationships. And we all know AEPhi's story.

AEPHI gets hate on this site bc they have had mixers with more frats than SDT for awhile now! and they have less weird girls compared to SDT! they just don’t post it on their social media like AXO does. also they had a hazing scandal OVER FIVE YEARS AGO, and their hazing was not as bad as Chi O’s blow or blow, but AU gave AEPHI a much harder time than Chi o. they’re going to rise after AU goes back in person bc they were able to keep their more desirable new members from 2020 and 2019 formal recruitment. frankly, from someone in a so called “top sorority”, AEphi’s pledge classes keep getting better and better. they’re on the way up!

also “idk” is definitely a sig delt!!! look at the likes on it. go teach your actives to not be so weird during recruitment instead of posting on greek rank 🧚♀️

axid, sk, and kkg each gave presentations a few years ago as to why they wanted to colonize here. maybe kkg...? the other two have colonized, so that seems logical

I doubt anytime soon, axid is still relatively new, let alone sk is completely new. Maybe in 5 or so years though

I think sdt definitely is doing better and deserve credit for their great attitude and sisterhood, but they're probably not on the level of phi sig and phi mu. So the way I see it, they might end up with SK in between pss/phi mu and axid/aephi. Although axid might also be on that level with them, just leaving aephi at the bottom. We'll just have to see how things progress this spring.

I would guess that both will probably be doing fall rush. As far as which is better, that's something you have to decide for yourself by getting to know sisters. The truth is that every organization has strengths and weaknesses, so it's just a matter of where you fit in best!! I know that people on this site have nasty things to say about every sorority, but don't let that sway you; give every chapter a chance!
