rush numbers

Does anyone know how many people are rushing frats this semester? Also how many pledges will most frats take? I'm looking for a frat that doesn't take too many

I'm not sure what the numbers are this year but usually around 160 guys rush and the average pledge class is about 10 guys.

It really depends. As corny as it sounds, every fraternity wants to take the guys who will mesh well within the fraternity. Fraternities are not going to advertise how many guys they're looking for simply because it varies. Some fraternities like Delt, AEPi, SAE, and Lambda want to get a ton of guys because they have so few. Others like Phi Sig Kapp and Delta Chi are not going to take a lot because they always have the necessary numbers that they need to survive. My advice is to meet every fraternity. See where you fit.

There are about 190 guys rushing who meet AU's standards (2.5 GPA and no outstanding conduct issues).
