Expose AU pages
by: WtfThe fact that first there’s an insta page dedicated to “expose” abusers using an anonymous form to submit stories. And now another one only going after those running for AUSG then saying “we question the validity of the allegation” and “we cannot say with confidence that the other allegations brought against... are true” says a lot and is disgusting. Enough with the anonymous forms attempting to “expose” people when some of the accusations can be false and used to damage one’s reputation. We aren’t in elementary or high school. “Xoxo gossip girl” like throwing out names is something to do on your spare time... find a hobby.

I also find it hilarious how there was deadass a discussion thread here that asked “what specific reforms does each org want to enforce” to which everyone gave joke answers or “lots of orgs have plans, the mob just doesn’t wanna hear it!!!” If you had even any plan at all that doesn’t have massive issues with it, who cares what the mob thinks? But no lmao that gives orgs way too much credit to think they’d actually do something to change, they’re too busy pointing fingers at the wonk boogeyman to think about that.

One “expose” AU account put their account on private and deleted posts of accusations that they found out to be questionable, false or not entirely true after this thread was created. That says a lot. Can’t believe everything you see online folks! I agree just stop with these pages

If you’re talking about exposing AU abusers, they took down the posts of full names for legality reasons. They took down the post about my abuser, who I know has abused many other people.
Obviously, they also deleted the trolling posts that were clearly from people who don’t exist, teams/orgs that don’t exist, etc.
I agree that false accusations are terrible, but let’s stop treating every survivor who chooses to come forward as if they need to prove something to you. We’ve dealt with enough. Any person with 3 brain cells wouldn’t post a false accusation, so stop acting like the hundreds of posts are lies.

I don’t think the poster or anyone is saying all posts are false and what the survivors are going through is terrible. I can see that there really isn’t a way to decipher false and true accusations unfortunately. Not that survivors need proof but even you’re saying that insta took the fake posts down. Its hard to tell what is or isnt. That’s all.
