It only matters (the tiers) if being in a greek org is the only thing about you and you have no interests or personalities outside of it.
I’d say the only thing that will restrict who talks or likes you is if you were a chi o. People rightfully so avoid with caution. They’re only friends with themselves too.

At American tiers do not mean much at all. No matter where you guy parties aren't going to be anything crazy. Obviously there's a difference between 'very bottom' and 'very top' but other than that if you have fun there then no point in worrying about whether its top or not. And social tiers mean nothing in the big picture when a majority of the population will not associate with greek life.

I agree with you completely. People at AU need to remember that even at the “top frats” the parties, while fun, are nothing crazy and really aren’t that much better than your average big house party at high school. And yeah the bottom frats parties are probably a bit worse but it seems tiers are more based on who goes clubbing and how well-known they are
