This is a genuine question (no hate)
by: Pls don’t hateI’m considering fall rushing and I honestly don’t think I can get into a top or even high middle sorority. Is Sigma Kappa doing fall rush? I don’t hear a lot about them on this site and am wondering if it’s even worth rushing? Are they relevant to greek life? Not in like a social climbing way but do they participate heavily in the greek community as far as philanthropy and mixers and formals. Will it be worth the financial investment or is it better to just wait for spring and see if I can buddy up to higher middle organizations?

It’s not fully determined yet what sororities are participating in Fall Rush. Sometimes the “top” ones participate too like AXO. Sigma Kappa does have formals and social events and all that stuff. I wouldn’t say all of them participate in greek events, but they’re not drastically different from like Phi Mu. It’s worth it to participate in the Fall if like 3+ are doing it I’d say because you have some choice that way.
