not at all! greek life is so lowkey here, every org does spring recruitment and welcome sophomores/juniors wholeheartedly. Won't lower your chances at all! However, if your GPA isn't the best it might at your age (usually give freshman a free pass on bad grades) but don't stress. I went through as a sophomore in the spring and it didn't restrict my choices at all. Got into the house I wanted and found my home! definitely helped me find my place at AU. Go for it!
