new sorority next year?
by: curiousSo I heard that next year there is going to be a new sorority on campus. Any idea of which one and when it will be coming to campus?

It isn't decided yet and won't be until the end of the semester. The panhellenic council will review application packets, invite a few sororities to make presentations on campus, and then pick one to colonize in the spring of 2014. They will colonize immediately following formal recruitment.

The new sorority will participate in round 1 of formal recruitment and then will pull themselves out of the process. National representatives of the chapter will likely be doing PR events on campus during the fall semester as well.

Yes. Likely they will take more freshmen and sophomores than upperclassmen but there will most likely be members from each class.
