honest ranking/review

DX & PSK - How the two smallest fraternities ended up being the best seems pretty counter intuitive. They're both really chill and both know how to throw down. Both are attractive and perscribe to the "work hard, play hard" mentality. PSK beats DX on visability since they can be seen around campus wearing letters fairly often, but I think I've seen more DX letters in the past few weeks than I've seen in my past 4 years here, so maybe that's changing. DX has been pretty active socially, but took a small class in the spring which could hurt them. PSK is on probation(?) but I doubt that will slow them down, they just have to be smart. Overall pretty even, with people's preferences putting one over the other.

Pike - Thrown down, but not out. It's too early to tell if they'll make a full recovery from last spring. Having lost their 20+ senior class and not taking a spring class last year definitely hurt them. Individually they're not bad, but as a group they can be a lot to handle. They always manage to squad up in letters and those ever visible "rush pike" shirts. They throw good parties (how they got into this situation), but how they fair socially, with small numbers and having to toe the probation line will be interesting to see.

AEPI - DELT - Sig Chi - In no particular order, these three make up the next grouping.
AEPI - The "freshman frat". They throw a lot of parties and people go to them, but after your first year or two the diehard AEPI fans start to fizzle out. That's fine, because they always have freshman to fill up their parties, but it’s not sustainable over 4 years. They took a larger class last year, so their numbers are doing well, but as a unit they’re pretty average. Some nice guys, but a lot are a bit too full of themselves.
Delt - Pretty standard for the most part. Their graduating class was cool, their senior class isn’t bad, but the younger guys need work. They have room to grow, but they need a solid class to do so. Typically, full of nice guys who like to drink, they’re pretty solid at sports and have been known to have a decent party every now and then.
Sig Chi - The best thing they have going for them is their philanthropy. They raise a lot of money by pitting sororities against each other, but it works. As a group they need work, they have few cool guys, but also a lot of weird kids too. I don’t typically enjoy their parties, but they’re fairly social. They try really hard to be the “preppy” frat and to be what Sig Chi nationally is known for nationally, but it doesn’t always work for them.

i like how honestly and open the frats are on here compared to the sororities just trying to shoot each other down
