Personally, phi sigma sigma was by far my favorite out of all of them. They're currently in a period of silence until rush week but I when I went to check out the school, since Im transferring in the fall, I kinda of snooped. I've never been one for sororities, matter a fact Im in the honors program, but I thought I might as well check them out. The ADG chick was a you know what. She was really snobby to the other students that she knew but the minute she turned around to me it was a mask. Really now? WTG. ACO was okay but she really didn't wow me. She was sweet but she still seemed like she had a mask on. The girl I met from PSS was super sweet! She even offered to show me around campus. She wasn't fact and matter a fact I spent two days with her. She didn't rep her sorority either like the other girls. I figured it out when she pulled out her keys as to which one she was in. I'm joining PSS. The others can bite me as well as continue to bite their on butts. Fallin' fast girlies.

Can anyone explain to me about Kappa Delta? I guess they are starting this new chapter here at UWF, and they are not going to be in formal recruitment, and my roommate says she is not rushing with everyone else because she is joining Kappa Delta. And says I shouldn't either. I already picked out a sorority I wanted to rush, but now I'm really confused, why go through rush if they will just accept you? I liked the sorority I was planning on rushing. Now I'm not sure?

Well, for one your roommate is guaranteed a bid from Kappa Delta and unfortunately I highly doubt she will get one because of the expectations Kappa Delta holds. Go through Formal Recruitment for you, for the experience, to find your home away from home. Just because your roommate is leaning towards another sorority doesn't mean you need to listen to her.
