sorority recs

Are recs needed if you're going through sorority rush? I know they are at some schools, like the ones in the SEC, but I'm not sure about here. If they aren't needed, is it still okay if an alum sends one in for you? Thanks.

Recs really aren't needed. At UNG it's all about who you know! They never hurt so if you know someone who is willing to write you one then go for it!
