my opinion on frats
by: Junior non Greek guy
Pike: Pretty diverse and also the biggest fraternity. Very involved on campus. 50% core. 50 civilian. They've won fraterity of the year 8 in a row. Probably the best athletes. Most people love them, some hate them. Top tier.
Sigma Chi: 95% civilian. Most "frat" fraternity. A lot of KD's like them. Some are very snobby. Lot of Buford kids. They have a very specific mold. Top tier.
SAE: 80% core guys. Tend to be the gym bros. Girls like them. Some come across very douchey. Have pretty good parties. Mid-tier.
Sigma Nu: Used to be top-tier and a good balance between Pike and sigma Chi. Got in trouble for hazing two years ago. Chill guys. Most people like them. Not very involved though. Mid-tier
Pi Kappa phi: 80% core. Very involved on campus. They have a few really cool guys. Most are weird in all honesty. Several rugby players. Bottom-tier.
Kappa sigma: 80% civilian. They pretty much accept anyone. Most are genuinely nice guys, but can be awkward and are socially irrelevant. Bottom-Tier.
Delta chi: 95 % core. New on campus, but not too great. Not very popular or good at sports. Very irrelevant. Half wear cargos. Bottom-tier.
Sig O: stay away!

How do awkward weirdos win fraternity of the year and be so involved on campus? Some people love to hate on Pike, but they are definitely top tier.
