On average what does it cost to join a fraternity? what does it cost to join and live in the house?

It generally depends on what fraternity you join. Most will be about $500 generally for dues. Not sure about housing.

Most dues will run around $500 per semester or roughly $100-$150 per month. Housing is comparable to all on campus housing, at a little more than $3000 per semester. The 3 fraternities with houses (ATO, Snu, DChi) each have 10 bedrooms with 8 upstairs (4 suites) and 2 downstairs (1 suite).
