What's Hot - University of Alabama Huntsville - UAH

These girls are rude and only care about themselves. They get a lot of girls during formal recruitment, but they only let the popular girls talk to PNMs. Their dues are the cheapest but you have to pay for every event you go to, and you can get fined for not going to so many events each semester. Their junior class are the only ones involved on campus, and from an outsider perspective, they seem to copy AOII and KD's social media posts a lot. These girls are known for partying hard.

AOII is the smallest sorority on campus with the worst retention. Very inclusive though, but a lot of people say it's because they have such a hard time getting girls so they take anyone. They are VERY expensive, and their campus involvement went down drastically when the class of 2020 graduated in the spring. Little involvement now and the newer classes a cliquey. They were the only sorority to not meet quota in formal recruitment this year. The girls are nice though!

I had a friend in DZ tell me that her and her friends rated PNMs off of how they looked on the first night of recruitment. I was horrified. DZ also dirty rushes every year by asking girls on preference night if they want to run home to DZ on Bid Day, which goes against Panhellenic rules and makes PNMs uncomfortable (my roommate was said PNM a few years ago and came to me upset after). They seem to argue a lot and are constantly bashing the other sororities. They need to work on their internal relationships and Panhellenic spirit.

This chapter has grown so much over the past 3 years for the better. When I was a freshman, they were cliqueish, but after getting caring pledge classes and electing good presidents, I only hear good things about them and they have turned their image around completely. All of the girls are smart, kind, and caring. You can see them all over campus- running clubs, RAs, on-campus jobs, Lancers, working in admissions, SGA, etc. They truly seem to care for and love each other too!

When you want to drop DZ, they make you go on a 3 week probation period where none of the sisters talk to you and act like you don't exist. They told me it's so you can feel how it'll be when you drop. This doesn't sound like sisterhood to me. The older girls are mean and only like themselves. The girls are known for partying and passing out at frat houses on the row. These girls get around a lot if you know what I mean

KD are the smartest girls in greek life, the nicest, best at recruiting, best looks, and most involved. I see them all over campus, especially the CU. They love their sisterhood and show it all over social media. Some of my best friends are in KD and they're super accepting and love talking about their chapter. I've never heard either of them talk bad about another sorority or fraternity either, which is super nice and refreshing for UAH.

These guys are friendly, but there chapter is disappearing. Them and SNU are the bottom two frats. Phi Psi doesn't have a house, throws one party a year, and has like 11 members. They rarely get guys to join and have the smallest chapter on campus.

AOII is the most expensive sorority on campus, by a lot. They are super inclusive, but are not good at recruitment and get the fewest girls each year. And because they're so expensive, they have the worst retention rates. The girls are super nice, but after the spring's girls graduated, they lost all the girls who were involved on campus.

I've heard of them two times in my three years on campus. Pretty sure they're disappearing from campus altogether.
