These girls are genuinely some of the worst people I have ever met. All they ever do is talk badly about other sisters and spread gossip and lies. I have heard them talking badly about sisters that aren’t even in the sorority anymore. During my time in the sorority I was ignored and talked badly about behind my back by almost everyone. I always found this odd since they were the ones that literally gave me a bid and welcomed me into the sorority. I fear that these girls are unfortunately the picture perfect definition of a stereotypical “Sorority girl”. You should spend your time, money, and effort literally anywhere else.

They called campus police on me because I was walking to my car, and they thought I looked suspicious and older even though I am a student at UAH. This sorioty never took full accountability for what one of the sisters did because they never apologized to me.

I was told to leave one of there parties after originally being given access to enter the party by the president of ATO because I was too old. I was friends with ATO at University of South Alabama in Mobile and too be treated this way by ATO at UAH was pretty concerning especially since this fraternity is highly involved with the campus. This party was for 18+ UAH college students anyways so I dont know why they would make such a big deal about it anyways.

I’m absolutely disappointed that I ran home to KD. I was given a load of false promises by a member, SS. This group of girls is just a mean girls club. They completely drag the AOII chapter, who just seem to want to be left alone. When I went through orientation I was practically promised a bid from KD, and that I wouldn’t have to worry about the other two “bottom tier” houses. Ever since I ran here in bid day I’ve experienced nothing but horrible behavior and a feeling of constantly needing to prove myself. These girls are beyond insecure. I regret not giving the other houses a chance. I’m too afraid to speak up to Panhellenic about what I experienced, so I’m hoping posting it here to do something. This organization needs to be restructured from the inside out, these women are spiteful, hateful, and just seem to want everyone to be as unhappy as they are.

These are some of these most sweetest girls I have ever met. I seriously don’t understand why no one would join them, yes they may not be the most aesthetically pleasing but they show them always having a good time and that they love each other. All chapters have their ups and downs but ultimately I think aopi is the best sorority on campus. These girls are seriously the most genuine people you will ever meet.

I get that recruitment is a huge deal, but the damage to our sisterhood feels like it's going to last way beyond bid day. There are so few of us left, and we’re all so overworked—barely sleeping, shelling out hundreds of dollars, and being pushed to make recruitment perfect that I’ve been told to straight-up lie to the PNM's faces. I’m having panic attacks now, and honestly, I’m just posting here because I don’t feel like I have anyone to talk to. Our leadership would probably accuse me of being disloyal if I spoke up, and the advisors are either totally MIA or even more intimidating. I joined to find a supportive community of girls, but now I just feel more isolated than ever.
