If you go through rush worried about what the Greek organization that gave you a bid is ranked, you're doing it wrong.
Don't be that person who used greekrank to decide what Greek organization you join, we all know a few of those fraternities and their reputations on here.
Join an organization because you fit in with the people, and you can imagine yourself one day calling them a brother or sister. If you actually have the confidence that these organizations look for, you'll go where you feel is right, not where a bunch of self rating bigots on GR tell you to go.

While you certainly shouldn't base your decision on the rankings alone, a lot of people fail to understand that they exist for a reason. For example, the fraternity rankings can give you a general idea of how weird or cool a fraternity is, how hard a fraternity hazes, how hot the girls they hang out with are, etc. Don't make a decision based solely on the rankings, but don't ignore them either
