Will having a GPA lower than a 3.0 but higher than the requirement for sororities ruin my chances of getting a bid to a "good" sorority?

Below a 3.0? Definitely. Anything with a 2 in front of it will hurt your chances honestly.

How do you get under a 3.0 first semester taking all of your gen eds

that's so ignorant.. you never know what somebody is going through a particular semester or if they have other things going on. and not everyone takes gen eds their first semester.. some majors are harder than others

not sure how it works for every chapter but i know top tiers won't just drop you because you don't have at least a 3.0. they care more about what you're involved in and the type of person you are
