out of state

is it bad if i want to go out of state to umd just because of greek life or is it not worth it?

UMD is honestly one of those schools that while I've been here, has made me wonder what else I could have done with my life had I not went here.

Don't listen to these bonkers, It's totally worth it OP. But it is what you make it. Is Greek life as big as it is further down south? Maybe not. But it's still a hell of a lot better here compared to some other schools, i.e. Towson. Be thankful for what we've got. Anyway when you figure out where you fit in and where you're happy, then it's worth it.

If you're only looking at UMD because of greek life, I highly suggest reevaluating yourself... Choosing a school solely on Greek life is absurd.. Go to a school because of Academics and opportunities not just its Greek Life.
