The big misconception about DX is that it is hard to get a bid there - It is not. However it is hard to get through pledging. DX easily has the highest percentage of kids who drop, which is why they're numbers are always so small. They're gonna have to give out a ton of bids this year if they want to keep this thing going off campus, its definitely going to be hard to appeal to kids being the only off campus frat.
If you want to be part of top tier greek life and not have to work hard for a bid, go Phi Delt or ATO like the others have said. ATO has given kids bids the past year that don't even get bids from middle tier frats. Phi Delt has quickly transformed from strictly Baltimore private school kids to now anybody who is rich. So if you have a lot of money, cool or not, rush Phi Delt. Rumors have it last spring they gave out upwards of 50 bids.
