fraternity ranking

Why are the Fraternities at UMD so obsessed with rankings? I mean, I would expect it from sororities, but Fraternities?! This is so high school... :-/

I agree with you, but we are by no means the only school who does it. It's all due to the innate competitiveness of the Greek system. It's my least favorite part of Greek life by far.

Why is it so important? 90% of the posts are about FRATERNITY rankings! And they receive an ocean of replies! Isn't there anything else that is important to the Greeks?
