Is there any way to become a founding sister of Gamma Phi Beta? How does that process work?

i don't think they start colonizing til spring 16, but when they do they'll hold a recruitment apart from the rest of the sororities (usually after) where you rush in a somewhat similar way, but you'll be talking to alumnae and actives from nearby chapters. no way to know all the details until they come, but it's definitely possible!! you can google 'sorority colonization' if you want a more in depth explanation

Thanks so much, so will the alumnae and actives from nearby also choose who becomes president, VP of recruitment, etc.?

The new members of the chapter will elect their officers, not alumnae.

Where are they going to live? No house in the long term will be a problem

By: house?

I am sure their colonization team has thought of all of that. These people literally get paid to establish a sorority. They're not going to miss any beats.

ADPi is very likely to leave campus, look for them to take that house.

They aren't taking anyone else's house... they are most likely building one on the empty lot in the Graham Cracker. Get your facts straight.

how is fall recruitment going to work? Who will decide who's in all the executive positions?

By: ?

a new colony chapter of a sorority is carefully nurtured (watched) for the first couple of years by the national and alums to give it a good basic start. Executive positions may be governed by Sororities Set-up committee. Each sorority does it a little different. Gamma Phi Beta is a strong national organization. This is another opportunity for a sorority to start fresh and establish itself! A win/win for those to consider.

Alpha Delta Pi recently had major renovations to their house, somewhere around 6 million, I think. The Sorority/Corporation owns the house. It is a valuable piece of real estate. They (ADPi) MAY rent the house for a couple of years to Gamma Phi till the new sorority can buy and build. AXiD did it, and then they came back. Its a possibility.

if the rumors about DX getting kicked off come true, there still is the possibility of gamma phi beta getting their house on the row, right?

By: maybe

Being a part of the expansion process in PHA...I know for a fact that they have looked at houses. They are not looking to take a house from any sorority already on campus. They will build their own on the graham cracker or renovate one not being used by a sorority. End of story.

Beta Theta Pi has DX old house and ADPi is NOT going anywhere, both pieces of info were already discussed on older threads, scroll back for info and stop spreading lies.
