I would encourage more support among the sororities: building sisters up, not tearing them down. All these negative comments make me wonder why anyone would want to rush. I'd also like to see the rating categories include things like scholastic and philanthropy. With so much energy and with a heart for others, a lot of good could be done.

When you rush, you need to keep an open mind -- seriously, most of the things people write on sites like these are not true. I cannot stress this enough. Don't go into recruitment with these stereotypes. New pledge classes mix things up anyway. What you have to do is choose a group and an atmosphere where you feel happy and comfortable. Because these are the girls that will love you at your best but also at your worst. When you look like a complete mess after pulling an all nighter, when you get all dressed up and pretty for formals, and all the times in between -- these are the girls that will be there. I encourage everyone thinking about rushing to sign up for recruitment! Even if you decide it's not for you, it is an experience worth having. But chances are you'll find a home away from home with wonderful ladies like yourself.
