rushing as sophomore?

is it considered weird to rush formally for sororities (in the spring) as a sophomore? I'm transferring next spring.. would it lower chances of getting a bid?

it's obviously less common to rush as a sophomore but it wont lower your chances at all! a lot of girls rush as sophomores even if they arent transfers
