by: Greek Life suspensionThere is an article on Huff Post stating our greek life has been suspended but it is only stating half the facts - UMD suspended fraternity and sorority activities pending an investigation into alleged unsafe hazing practices. It's trying to protect students, especially after the University of Virginia had a student hospitalized after falling backwards down a long flight of stairs during hazing. The suspension will last through the investigation, however long that will take. They can still host non-alcoholic events for old members, but just can't have contact with new members to prevent hazing incidents. Just wanted anyone to know that is still interested in joining a sorority - we are still here and we will still recruit

No they are not coordinating, they are just each covering their asses in the media, which is NEVER going to publish anything but the worst possible presentation of Greek life.
