What sororities look for ?

I’m a transfer student and wanted to rush in the fall, but wasn’t sure about my chances. Do sororities here recruit mainly based on looks or achievements? I didn’t rush at my old (southern) school, but ppl said it was more about what high school you went to/what area you’re from and who you knew
