On March 7, 2014 the national fraternity SIGMA ALPHA EPSILON announced no more hazing! See the entire article in the DENVER POST at:

Hazing is bullying and humiliation and does NOT promote esprit de corps. SAE has set the mark high for other fraternities to follow!

Ha Ha Ha......IFC always had a crappy reputation for along time and they did that to themselves. While that is good for SAE, I believe they are not the first fraternity to eliminate hazing/pledging. There are 3 other Nationals that have done this several years ago.

While it is true that SAE is not the first to take this dramatic step forward, this might be a hopeful sign that other National IFC Fraternities with enlightened minds will follow. You can tell which fraternities have horrible hazing records by the amount of liability insurance they have to pay. More fees for membership go to insurance instead of other endeavors. It a simple matter of dollars and common sense.

It is attitudes like that, that give the IFC such a crappy reputation. You must be DX... 64 stoopid brothers with one of the lowest GPA's on campus! All you do is piss and hiss. Slither back where you belong!
