Where to choose

The truth is that no one gives a crap about tiers once you join a chapter. You’ll have formals and game days and socials with frats and find a good group of friends in every sorority on this campus.

This post is true in the fact that no matter what people say aloud - this is what a lot of people do say out loud, think, or think to themselves. Truth - tiers never go away. Everyone aware what tier/house your in.
But you need to change your own attitude and be happy with what 1) the houses you actually got into because that's where you fit
2) dont accept a bid from another girl who may like the house versus you who say your okay with it but wrote this truth?
My advice - accept and get into your choices and rock it. Because you'll be happiest that way!

This is a safe forum to air feelings or ask for advice. The truth is...if your writing this...the tier matters to you. Because if the tier did not matter to you you wouldnt be writing this??? The reality is do not rush again because this how you did. If you like your house choices- then you need to get out of your own way. To accept a bid that you dont really wants takes it away from another girl who wants it or your never going to be satisfied in your house. Tiers do exist! Dont kid yourself. Will some girls think your not for them because not in their tier? Yes. Will some frats not be interested in you because your houses dont mix - yes. So that's your reality. Is it lower mid? You'll be hanging with lower mid frats. Whatever house your in - that's who you'll be hanging with. Where you belong. If your talking top tier...aopi/axid... the top tier is really 4 - tridelt/alpha phi/theta and KD.

Don't join a sorority with the disappointment your already feeling.

definitely not an issue! I think the girls are so sweet it’s not a shallow thing I just don’t want to miss out on opportunities or a social life I would get with a more top viewed sorority.

omfg you sound so shallow. you make is sound like greek life is a literal caste system with social classes😭news flash the real world doesnt have a tier system, good luck living with that mentality once you graduate from your “top tier” sorority

If you like 2 houses go with it. You like the houses! Pick one. Pick a house you like the girls and wanted you. If your happy you'll like college. If your unhappy you'll be unhappy. Dont get stuck in your own way or others around you and their opinions. Happy people who like their friends and are comfortable enjoy college no matter the house. Sounds like you'll be happy. You like the houses!
