FOR PNMS: 2023 UMD Sorority Ranks

this is what everyone in greek life knows as the rankings. people in my sorority, in other sororities, and frats all know this is accurate.
for pnms: while it may seem like the end of the world for what sorority you get, in the end THE RANKINGS DO NOT MATTER to your sorority experience. it’s what you make of it. you can have the best friends and memories in any sorority no matter the rank. tbh all the rank really does is decide which frats you primarily social with (although you can still go to any frat’s posts). i know rush is scary and stressful but you truly will end up where you are supposed to be. greek life is not that serious (even when it seems like it is). go into rush with an open mind and get off greek rank, it does more harm than good. take care of yourself during rush, spend time with friends after rounds and don’t dwell on it too much. good luck PNMS <3
