they always do it just don't advertise. Not that they are top but Axo definitely did COB after formal recruitment last year. I know someone who dropped out and then joined axo via cob.

That's a very narrow minded way to think of it like do you even realize how many reasons a sorority would do COB? I feel like aphi is doing it because they had so many people graduate.

Can we stop trying to perpetuate a stigma that COB has anything to do with how desirable a sorority is?

It’s a financial thing. Sororities often do COB because they have a gap between the maximum number of members allowed by Panhellenic and their current member numbers. That means fewer dues. COB is a financial choice, often mandated by national.
