Only PMS please...no sororities trying to influence greek ranks!
I'm part of a group of pms rushing... it's a big commitment and expensive to join. No one interested in a negative podcast. We listened and thought stupid. All groups have rules.
For tops so far...
Tridelt and Alpha Phi as TOP everyone wants. Theta 3rd top.
kd we like house and hear top... different group of girls compared to top 2 and 3.
axid we like too! Then AOPi. axo and zeta - who do they hang out with frat wise?
aephi and phi sig a group likes. gamma phi seems low middle? dg low middle?
We don't want to hear...follow your heart. This is rush! It's a social activity.

I'm into Tridelt and Alpha Phi too. My roomie and best friend is interested in AXO or AOPi. Would be happy in DG or zeta too - feels more comfortable in that grouping. She thinks she fits in better with those houses and sees new in Tridelt or alpha phi. Our other friend is only interested in aephi or phi sig or deeph. Two of my other friends want Tridelt, alpha phi or theta like me. Just my group. Rush is stressful!!!

Ugghh I got dropped by two of top picks and just have 2 left I would want to join!! I feel like the pretty girls are sailing through rush and I listened to alpha phi podcast and got from it... dont pick a sorority where you have to try to hard to fit in. My observation- the pretty girls who are cool and confident are sailing through the top houses. My mom and I discussed and I may fit in better in a mid house. axid cool but not quite alpha phi or Tridelt and seem a little not as confident so not sure that's a fit either for me. I'm leaning into AXO, zeta or maybe gamma.

don't listen to podcast - an alpha phi one and DG rant. Unhappy in houses they chose or chose them. So if you want a more popular house don't put DG down - its NOT AXID, axo, aopi level at all. Low middle. If you want a top and are not getting picked naturally - your trying to hard - dressing a certain way to fit in, watching what you say - don't pick that house either. You won't feel comfortable. My sister in a top one and her sorority has pretty confident girls - she told me to pick where I feel comfy. I know her friends - she wants me to feel comfortable or not feel like my little sister. I may pick another house. No hazing in her house. Goody bags and nice girls.

Idk the girl who rushed me in DG was stunning and blonde... seemed like a top tier material person...
Might be low mid but if they're able to bring in more girls like her they won't have any trouble rising...
DG girls are very hit or miss. When I talked to them yesterday, the girls were either super pretty or not very pretty at all, but I will say no DG looks exactly the same like they do in the tops which I like... same can be said about gphi and zeta... I think those sororities need to bring in about 5-10 more hot girls and be a little more selective and they'll rise seamlessly. That's my rush analysis.

Most houses aren't focused on just looks. There are beautiful women in every Sorority. People that only want to surround themselves with people that look a certain way are usually very insecure. If you want everyone to look the same than get friends that look the same but a Sorority is not about that and most Sororities aren't thinking about bringing in women that are going to get them to a better status.

All I'm saying is that if dg is full of try hards as much as this site says it it, if they have a girl like the girl who recruited me, more will follow.

DG is not a try hard sorority whatsoever and I don't know who or why that became a thing but that isn't, and really never has been as far as I know, their reputation. The girls I know in DG are pretty much the opposite actually. I feel like every sorority has at least a handful of try hards who care about status but that doesn't mean the sorority itself as a whole cares about tiers or social status, and as far as DG goes, they consistently recruit based on the quality and character of the women they recruit, at least that's what I've observed idk. Trust me, as far as try-hard sororities go, DG really doesn't make that list. That chapter is the highest in tiers if your ranking chapters that aren't completely judging everything about you when you recruit them. You don't have to take my word for it but I really don't know where all the dg hate came from. I'm in gphi and I know a lot of girls were really pissed at the dg on pha who made the homecoming pairs, so it wouldn't be that far out of left field for me to assume some girls in my sorority started that.

dg isn't my top choice but it is one of my favorites because the girl who rushed me yesterday was speaking very highly of other chapters without shying away from marketing dg. Like she talked in detail about how sororities are constantly supporting other sororities' philanthropy events and mentioned how great axo's philanthropy efforts are. She wasn't advertising other chapters; as a PR major I noticed that when I asked what set DG's philanthropy apart from other chapters', and she was really good at saying wonderful things about other chapters while still answering my questions and tying everything back to dg. I was impressed from a pr standpoint (I'm rushing as a junior and school has poisoned my mind to look at every professional interaction I have from my major's perspective lol)

Idiot responder - sororities do have gpa requirements and do drop girls they may like round 1 because of grades. Your high school gpa and college gpa is submitted. Round 1 it's a computer run on grades alone. Can idiots who know nothing about sororities please stop responding to these posts with opinions that are not relevant. Her Greek leader may have told her if she asked about grades. As for not talking to anyone - of course that happens! It's not supposed to but it happens if you know a girl in a house - good or bad why you were dropped. If you do not have a 3.0 overall gpa or better- you will be dropped. Some houses have higher gpa requirements. Traditional top ones like Tridelt, theta, kd, alpha phi etc do have gpa requirements.

If dg could get 5 to 10 to 15 hot girls they would!!! You may meet a girl who looks top and either got dropped because said wrong things, girls in the house did not like her personality, she had no activities in hs, a lot of reasons. Some pretty girls have okay personalities and that's why dropped. A girl may want to be the HOT one in a house and why chooses a certain house. It's the minority not the overall gist.

Do you think that maybe MAYBE not everyone wants to be in the top tier? Maybe she chose dg because she felt more at home there? Dg could absolutely bring in more hot girls. Just look at their PC from last year. I don't understand this sudden rampage of hate on dg. They aren't problematic, stay out of drama, and the girls are so nice. They can pull top tier material girls and they have. I know a few people that preffed zeta and tridelt or dg and aphi and ranked the mid srats higher because they were more comfortable.

A mid tier tends to stay mid tier... the way it is since same houses rush same girls every year. If you like DG, zeta or gamma - go that house. But to say they just need to be more selective and get 5 to 10 more hot girls - the dg rant of a few years ago. Don't rush a sorority looking to change it!! Learn from dg rant and the alpha phi podcast. Girls who think they can tell a sorority what to do and how to do it better- 🤣😳. Your naive! The ranks are the ranks... the tops have a full house of the pretty popular girls - if that wasn't you in hs - it's not for you. You'll feel overwhelmed. Some girls are pretty but not the popular girls. Just the way it is. Or pretty but not the nicest. Or pretty but dorky personality. Choose a sorority - look around- look at ranks - true! Choose what picks you or you pick.

The dg rant was literally a decade ago why do people still care about that? The people who were in dg when that happened are probably parents to teenagers now lmao. And also, the only reason mid tends to stay mid is because of people like you who get off on gatekeeping tiers that barely even exist to begin with.

Before I really wanted alpha phi or tri delta but after yesterday I feel really connected to axo and aoii. But I would say the ranks are
Aphi, tri delta > theta, kd
Axid > axo, aoii
Zeta > gphi
Aephi > phisig
Dg, deeph
Adpi, sdt > sk
Before I was really set on being top tier but after meeting all of them I really want one with a good sisterhood too, which is why i really love axo and aoii. I am hoping to make it to preference round with them. If I do, does anyone have advice on how to decide between them?

I have friends in both aoii and axo. They both have great sisterhoods? There is drama in every house of course but they all love it a lot. This sounds like a troll in zeta trying to be above axo and get on aoiis level.

They are both great, just got with whatever you feel the most comfortable in! From my experience with them aoii is a little more mellow and axo is like rowdier. Idrk if that’s the best way to put it lol but you get the idea

This is so false. My friends in axo have a better sisterhood than my friends in any other chapters. Of course there could be issues among friends but that’s true anywhere? Your one experience doesn’t speak for an entire sisterhood

how on earth does she know why she was dropped? sororities aren't supposed to talk to pnms outside of parties (at least if they didnt interact with them already, let alone tell them why they were dropped. i cant think of a single time any sorority has dropped someone for grades
