Bid promising? Who does it

Do any sororities here bid promise? Just want to know

can't. it has to match in system..your on sorority top tier list - A list. You put them as your first choice - it has to match in system. In order of the A list and where you sit when the sorority puts in A list.

anything can happen in system- like both sororities you pref. some girls end up not getting a bid if they were not on either sororities A list. If on both B list - or even C list - may not yet bid.

It definitely happens or it's insinuated. People get their hopes up and when they are cut from certain houses are very upset. Be open to who actually invites you back, not who promises you something without backing it up

A girl in a house can "insuate" and get a girls hope up... pref night can go differently. I preffed a girl with another sister - I loved the girl - my sister decided on pref night she did not like the girl as much as she thought - although I loved her - she was off our A list. Nothing I could do. Everyone you meet has to want you on A list - competition. rush strong at least 3 or 4 houses to make sure you find a fit. I would love 2 by pref night.

certain girls maybe a favorite before rush, during rush and on the A list. can happen

alpha phi may and for them it works...they pre rush and have a pre rush top A list. the other sororities don't and girls have gotten burned by thinking in...your best friend could be in house but if house does NOT want you - you will not get a bid. I would find 3 houses you want to be in... try
