Guide for rushes for frat Rush

This site has a lot of hate and false info because you can go on here and say just about anything. However this site is in constant disagreement, a general consensus exists at least for fraternities.

There are houses that have been top for a while and that has no signs of changing. They are Phi Delt, KA, Sig chi. These frats all have different vibes but pull the same girls from the top sororities. They’re more of your stereotypical “frat bro” but nice guys all around. It’s hard to get a bid unless you already know a brother or two to help you out.

Next up is the “low top” these fraternities are doing very well now but their success hasn’t been around for all too long. These houses can be broken up into two groups. Group 1 being Sig Nu and ATO, and the other being Lambda and Dsig. Sig Nu and ATO are a bit above Dsig and lambda at the moment. These houses in the “low top” are generally the same size as the “top” fraternities and they hold great sorority relationships as well. Sig Nu and Ato tend to social with the top sororities consistently, while Dsig and Lambda social with the top too but have their best relations with the “lower top” ones such as Axid, Aopi, Axo.
The guys in these houses are much more down to earth and nice, show very strong qualities of a real brotherhood.

The “upper mid” are the last of the big fraternities. They are Zeta Psi, Tep, and Alpha Delt. These places tend to social with the low top sororities sometimes but mostly the upper mid sororities mostly such as Zeta. These frats in upper mid are still a good size and well established organizations. Zeta Psi has great dartys and tep has an amazing basement. They have the potential to rise but likely won’t do so this year or next year.

Then comes the middle of the pack which is Sae, Zbt and Theta Chi and Alpha Sig. In this tier, these frats do not social with any of the top or low top sororities. They’re lucky to get their hands on an upper mid every now and again but usually social with sororities consistently, but just not everyone’s first choice. Still solid orgs tho.

At the last of the point of any relevancy is the lower mid. This is simply PSK and Sig Ep. Really smart kids and good guys but lack relations with sororities or the means to get things done.

The “bottom frats” can also be broken up into two groups. Group 1 being Chi Phi, Phi Tau, Phi Psi, which people have at least heard of. Then group 2 being Sammy, Du, Beta. Very small frats that have little to no connections at all, would avoid rushing these if you’re looking for a real Greek life experience but if you’re looking for something smaller, this could be perfect.

Then at the very bottom is Sig Tau and Sig Phi. The IFC recognizes them so they must exist but never heard of anything so can’t speak on it.

All of this is facts coming from a senior, every frat has great things about it, it’s just about trying to find the right fit. The biggest and most relevant fraternities are the ones listed in top and low top, Phi Delt, KA, Sig Chi, Ato, Sig Nu, Lambda, Dsig. But Zeta Psi, Tep, Alpha Delt are all very relevant as well. The next tier still holds great guys in Sae, Zbt, Alpha Sig, Theta Chi but far off from the top. After this the frats become less relevant on the social scene but if that’s your thing, then by all means. Happy rush everyone.
