I'm in a sorority and girls rush and enjoy it. Drama in every house. The snapped podcast...I'm sorry the 1 girl had such a BAD experience but being in a sorority - a bunch of my friends are in different ones - honestly nothing that bad going on.

If a sorority is not your thing - fine. Rush is a choice. I have friends not in them and happy.

Stop creating drama!

I'm in a sorority, my older sister was in a sorority - at Maryland - none of this went on in my sorority. Girls - rush, pick a house, I love it! It gave me a "home" at Maryland. It's fun and always something to do. If a girl joins a sorority and it's not for her - quit!!! Stop causing drama for the girls who are in sororities and want to be in them. You can always make a core group of friends in dorm and live together and go to the bars. That's your group! Rush is a choice and it's a large school with options.

I'm in a sorority and none of this drama happens. 1 of my friends whines a lot but to be honest in high school she whined a lot. Some girls... whine and dwell. She chose to join and stay in the same sorority as me...same whine in hs and college. This girl, that girl. Some girls like to go on.... its trivial whining. The podcast... the sorority told her...if it's not your thing...quit. If 1 girl picks and picks and picks and picks at anything...it just gets bigger and bigger in her head. She should have chose to quit and move on. There was a girl in our pledge class - she didn't click with our class. We were all nice to her but to be honest - we didn't like her. She was whiney. She quit and moved on. When you dont click with a group in your pledge class and make friends or feel comfortable in your house - you chose wrong.

The podcast...these ranks which say the same thing over and over again!
The top ones are top in rank...once your in a sorority who cares what rank? You like your house or you don't. If your girl who wants to be in a top sorority...alpha phi, tridelt, theta or kd - your not comfortable with a bunch of pretty girls who are cheerleaders, dancers, athletes, the prom queen - it's a wrong fit. Don't join 1 of those. If you want a cool house that is more chill - AXID, AOpi, AXO or phi sig. If your more into rank - be able emotionally to hang out with those girls. Again - how through rush - less about rank and where you feel comfortable and like the girls you talk to in rush. Not as the snapped podcast girl did - dress right and say what you think someone wants to hear. If your into how you look - dress up! You'll be surrounded daily by girls into how they look. I'm in a sorority, I was myself in rush, i feel comfortable in my sorority, the frat guys are nice. All this drama... it's sad to me. Nothing mean going on in my sorority. Is everyone besties- no. Is it perfect - no. It's a group of girls who choose to hang out together. Everyone finds a group to hang with within the sorority. As a whole at bars and in the house and parties - you hang as a whole.

She is still snapped. Move on! Don't listen. I'm in a sorority and it's just not true. I know girls in a bunch. The girls who don't like it...quit. move on! Why this keeps going on...sad. Trying to ruin other people's college experience. I love my sorority and glad I joined.
