Toxic Fall Rush

Rushing frats this semester as a freshman and when I showed up to a meet the brothers event I was appalled by the toxic masculinity of greeklife. Not a single person asked me my pronouns or shared theirs when introducing themselves. Additionally not a single person was wearing a mask (I was wearing 2 in accordance to the CDC guidelines). Then when the brothers asked me my major and I responsed Genderfluid Socioecology studies they laughed in my face. Overall extremely disappointed that Greeklife is not a safe space in 2021.
