let’s chill abt aphi

let me preface this by saying i am in a sorority on campus (not aphi) and am on a similar tier as them.
i understand WHY we feel the need to cancel aphi based on the podcast abt the one girl’s terrible experience. the thing is, you’re not much better if you’re sitting there making ranks based on how pretty/popular/cool the girls in a sorority are. you have no idea what the sisterhood is like until you’re in it. also, all sororities have some type of social media rules (what you can/cannot post according to nationals). this is not unique to aphi.
unfortunately, the snapped podcast wasn’t just a glimpse into aphi world, but a glimpse into the reality of most top/near top sororities. there’s no need to completely cancel aphi based on this one girl’s experience. you’d find similar experiences from girls in any top/near top sorority i’m sure. there are good, bad, and neutral experiences w sorority life. the girl in the snapped podcast had a bad experience and broadcasted it to the whole world. 1 girl. don’t let 1 girl sway your opinion about 100+

I have heard good and crap things about all 16 sororities. ....
You put 100 or more girls together in a group and some click with others or fit in better with others. Some stay and complain???
I live with a girl - no NOT alpha phi who constantly whines about our sorority. I don't have the same issues. Daily whine where she is the STAR..
She goes on and on and on... I said to her if you dont like it, quit!!! She has no intention. It's her identity!!! Me, who likes our sorority said I would quit if I'm unhappy??? Whine whine whine with no intention to quit. We all find her difficult.
I'm guessing like the girl with the DG rant, the alpha phi rant...its ...I need attention and it's your fault STAR show. Its everyone else's fault. A need for attention.

Doesn't alpha phi literally pick their pledge class before rush even begins? I heard this from someone literally in alpha phi.
Theta does it too...They literally fill out forms that give bids to girls that they are friends with.
As far as I know.. the top tier has their pledge classes already picked before rush even begins. I haven't heard of any other sorority doing that. I wouldn't put it past tridelt, I'm not sure about KD.
Not only are these sororities unfairly rushing, they dont even support their sisters to begin with. That's what you people want to call top tier? That's ridiculous to me.

yes i know for a fact alpha phi and tri delt have their PCs picked out before rush. that’s why they have so many issues w bid promising

It's not true. I'm in 1 of the houses. Girls go through rush and its discussed. You can go through rush not knowing any girls in a sorority and just be a click with certain houses. Some houses may have their eye on certain girls BUT bids are still a vote and as any girl knows who has been part of rush - not all the girls agree and not everyone gets a bid. But I do think Tridelt, alpha phi, theta and KD all want the same girls. Which house each girl ends up... but 1 of the 4.
