If you have a specific chapter in mind you can always dm their instagram. People do that more than you'd think and it's not awkward

most will start rushing right when school starts underground, then "official" starts about a week into school so if you don't know anyone in a frat then you will start then

nah it isnt the same for sororities. Rush is entirely done during scheduled rush week and they even can get in trouble for prematurely rushing girls.
