midterms szn approaching

You can measure how hard I’m working from my eraser crumbs. If it looks like a volcano filled with eraser crumbs erupted all over my desk, that means it’s 5 minutes before the deadline. If there are no eraser crumbs there, maybe a little dust accumulating, that means I haven’t been there for ages. Now that I think about it, the volcano must’ve been filled with eraser crumbs AND dust when it erupted 5 minutes before the deadline, given I don’t dust in between panic and procrastinating sessions. This constant cycle consumes the time of my life surrounding the foreboding “midterms szn”, where Sunday Scaries are Everyday Scaries and volcanoes are erupting left and right.
