This is open to debate, just what I’ve noticed from not just this PC but based off fall recruitment sisterhood, social media, campus presence, and overall opinions. I think unproblematic ones etc like ADPi are going to continue to rise because it was impressive to me they did so well not just this semester but last semester when they were A) the bottom house and B) it was such a low poll of people because of the pandemic. In general groups with better sisterhoods are going to continue to rise (axo axid Kd)because of higher retention rates and better member experience whereas ones with sister hood as a lower priority are going to continue to fall especially when they get defensive rather than correcting their mistakes (cough cough aphi. ) A phi you may not be bottom house socially now but you deserve to be there overall for defending such disgusting behavior instead of working to correct it. It doesn’t matter that it was years ago, you still own up to your mistakes and should work on creating an environment where it’s unarguable that something like that doesn’t still happen/could happen again. If you don’t work on yourselves and re adjust your priorities you’re just going to continue building a weak foundation that will catch up to you eventually.

i agree, this is the best ranking of sororities that actually takes into account sisterhood and how fun the girls are to hang out with, not just how hot they are

Tri delt and Alpha are top of the top and thats ok. None of us Have a right to speak for ppl that have long graduated. They as adult women will have to work out their issues, and it’s none of our business.
I see a lot of love within both of those houses. Not everyone in every house is going to like each other unfortunately, or agree with one another, so your argument while in a perfect world is on the right track, you can’t go judging every current house. over the many years there have been isolated issues within every single house and thats facts. We just don’t know about it because no one made a podcast or cared enough to write an article about it.

AOPi is never above or equal in ranking to Alpha Phi or Tridelt. It's a strong house AOPi..

Self destructive in general. Cant blame a house for a girl who self destructs. Up to her family and a professional counselor. Not a sorority where girls are growing into women themselves.

Have you considered that not everyone has the same ideals of what makes a house a top house? Op is clearly talking about other factors other than looks and current pledge classes. Also it sounds very victim blaming to just say the problem was a girl who was self destructive. Yes you’re not responsible for someone else’s trauma but you could at least be considerate and if anything sisterly. yes no one’s house is perfect, but how you respond to situations or airing dirty laundry reflects a lot on your current chapter. No one would be coming for aphi if they took accountability for past actions and did some self reflection to grow from the wrongs of the past. But getting all defensive in these posts just sounds like you either don’t care or you approve.

Last three PCs don’t have a horse in the race they are coming in innocent. Not everyone sees the podcaster as the victim. There are no concessions to make if you don’t feel that person is right. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and whom they believe. There are just some ppl out there that want to continue to kick a dead horse and that has more to do with them as individuals than with anyone else. The woman involved are graduates and if they choose so they can work it out on their own time in their adult lives. Its no longer a umd greek life issue.

Girllllll dont compare any house at UMD to the KKK, thats twisted af. You might be worse than all of them! Every house has their rules and regulations with social media. hell in Alabama you get in trouble if you go out with wet hair and no make up. If you don’t like the rules drop out. The last 3 pc classes obviously dont have the same opinion as some of you regarding the podcast, and thats fine. We are all entitled to an opinion and what we believe. there are two sides to every story. Its a personal issue between those particular women involved and it’s for them to work out and make peace with if they so choose. They are graduates of UMD and no longer women that attend UMD. We are all new to all the houses and starting fresh together. We can either grow together as new terps or continue this none-sense.
