Thats ridiculous to drop after preference. Also houses that cut you will 99% of the time nor extend a snap bid to you.

snap bids are extended the morning of bid day to chapters who didn't make quota, usually extended to women who dropped early in the process. do not count on snap bids, it doesn't work out for everyone.
COB is the next few weeks of extending bids, if a chapter already dropped you you won't be COB'd or snap bid'd, they only invite girls who dropped them, not the other way around

That’s not how it works. You would only get a bid if you dropped out. Most likely you won’t get a bid if they dropped you before ...
