Choose houses based on where you see yourself most and not what pathetic people say on this website. If you go into rush with an open mind you will definitely be surprised with the sororities that people say are “weird” or are not “top tier” on gr. I know people who join “top tier” sororities that are miserable but they joined because it’s “top”. I know people who are in “mid/bottom” tier sororitys who love their sororitys. A very small percentage of ppl actually write on greekrank and it’s always to promote their own sorority/frat so it’s not an accurate representation of what Greek life is like at umd AT ALL. At the end of the day, you don’t want to make a decision based on what you hear or what other people say because these are the people who you’ll be associated with for the next 3 years and if you can’t be proud of your sisters or the organization you pledged, then whats even the point
