COnsider the possibility that KD & APHI didn't WANT the "it" girls that went to Tri-Delt.......They were pretty well known to the top tier frats and sororitys before rush.

Absolutely this is correct! I know for a fact that KD and APHI did NOT want the "it" girls this year! They are tired of being thought of as simply the beautiful and shallow girls and are now seriously looking for the average, dumpy and highly intelligent girls to round out their sororities.
