But you literally lessens your chances of getting you number one so how important is it to you then really? You’ve got sorority abc and xyz left but you’re sure that abc is the one for you. If you maximize your options and ABC submits their pledge class list they want of let’s say quota is 50 girls. Sad for you you aren’t on that list of 50. But because you maximized your options you have the POSSIBILITY of being added to that pledge class as a quota addition. So they have a 2nd list in order of who they’d like in that pledge class the most. A lot of factors go into if you’ll be a QA for your number one or number two like chapter size, who high you are on their list and of course what you ranked (they really do try to get girls to their number one) but you may still get a bid from XYZ at the end of the day and not ABC.
But if you had only ranked ABC, if you’re not on that first list of 50 you are out of luck and won’t be eligible to be a quota addition.
So in my opinion, not worth it.
