sorority rush as a sophomore

by:

I’m currently a freshman girl and I still can’t decide whether Greek life is for me. I know everyone says to just try it out and see but I was thinking about sitting out this year and see how my friends like it and see the process before diving in. I just wanted to know the likelihood of me getting a bid as a sophomore.

You will get a bid. There is no difference.

you can rush without accepting a bid to any house if you don’t like it. rushing with your friends will be better than doing it alone next year tho

As someone who did this and sat out the first year and then rushed the second I sincerely regret it. It’s so much better to go through it as a freshman rather than as a sophomore. Going through it with your friends it’s a lot eisier/fun then going through it by your self with them already on the other side. After going through the rush process if you decided it’s not for you, you can always drop or just not sign the bid.
