how likely is it that i wont get into a sorority?

Not getting picked at all and not getting picked by a certain sorority are two totally different things. As long as you are ok getting into any of the sororities you will get a bid.

People usuallly think they belong in a certain sorority just by the outward appearance but it really isn’t like that. If you mesh with some girls then you’ll probably get in. But it’s not a great system, ultimately you’re just with a bunch of random people and it’s never perfect or what people think it is. It’s cliquey and catty and not that serious

Did they genuinely get dropped from every single sorority, or did they just get cut from the ones that they wanted and I thought they were too good for the sororities they had left? That’s usually what happens is everyone cries and whines when their favorites drop them from recruitment and then just tell everyone that they got cut from the whole process and sororities are mean and unfair. When in reality, they had other perfectly good options they just thought they were too good for them…
The likelihood of anyone not getting a bit is extremely low except maybe at IU because they have an effed up rush. The entire recruitment system is designed to basically try to make sure every girl gets a sorority. Seriously as long as you don’t have grades in the toilet, aren’t a behavior/reputational risk, and stick out the whole process and maximize your options you pretty much get a bid from someone. It just might not be who you wanted at first.
